About Me

I love anything to do with language and I am passionate about the correct use of it, including spelling and grammar. I sometimes even find myself reading my favourite books and picking out the mistakes. Reading a newspaper can be a particular challenge sometimes when you can't overlook the errors.

I did work in a job for eight years, which perfectly fit that passion, in fact that is where I discovered it! I was proofreading on a regular basis as part of this job (mainly in German) and at one point decided to turn what I do almost daily anyway into a qualification and completed the Proofreading and Copy Editing course with the College of Media and Publishing with distinction!
